Wydad Athletic Club boss Rulani Mokwena has revealed why he is confident that Thembinkosi Lorch will shine in Morocco.
Lorch made his first appearance for Wydad on Sunday, with the South African star coming on in the 64th minute during the side's 2-0 win over HUSA.

Not only did he become the second South African to represent Wydad after Cassius Mailula, but Lorch also became the third former Mamelodi Sundowns player to feature for the Moroccan giants this season, after the aforementioned striker and Abdelmounaim Boutouil.
With Lorch having made his debut, manager Mokwena said he is confident that the 31-year-old will thrive at Wydad.
According to Moroccan outlet El Botola, Mokwena said during a media briefing; "Lorch has abilities similar to those of Bouna Amar, such as speed, aerial strength, and the capability to create chances out of nothing.
"Lorch has played for major clubs like Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns, and now he has joined another big club in Wydad Athletic.
"His experience enables him to handle pressure, and I am confident that this will help him shine," the coach added.
Impressively, Wydad's victory over HUSA was their fourth successive win in the Botola Pro 1.
The club now sits comfortably in fourth position on the table with 36 points from 20 games.
Since taking over at Wydad, Mokwena has been in charge of 24 matches, registering 11 wins, seven draws, and six defeats in all competitions, according to Transfermarkt.
