Ramovic Talks Collapse, New Favourite For Raja Job 'Emerges'

It seemed that TS Galaxy were going to have to find a new manager after their president Tim Sukazi confirmed that his German head coach was bound for Casablanca in this off-season.

However, it now looks as though those contingencies will not need to be implemented because, according to Le360 Sport, the Green Eagles have retracted their interest in the 45-year-old.

A source close to the Stuttgart native has revealed to Soccer Laduma that Ramovic wanted to head to the Stade Mohamed IV with three of his own technical staff, but the three-time CAF Champions League winners wanted the UEFA Pro License holder to come alone.

He was unwilling to compromise on this, which seemingly led to a complete breakdown in talks, and now a new favourite for the Raja position has emerged.

As per Le Site Info Sports, the reigning Botola Pro Inwi title holders have swiftly moved on from Ramovic and now look poised to appoint Portuguese tactician Jose Peseiro as their next head coach.

The 64-year-old has been out of football management since leading Nigeria to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final, but now seems set for a return to the game.

The same report states that the national teams of Tunisia and Syria have also presented offers to him, but it is understood that Peseiro has given Raja positive feedback and the two parties are now believed to be in advanced negotiations to get the deal done.
