Al Ahly sporting director Mohamed Ramadan has made a new admission about transfers ahead of the local deadline.
Coach Marcel Koller stated last month that the team won't add any new players before the local transfer window slams shut.

However, following the loss to fierce rivals Zamalek in the CAF Super Cup last season, it seems the club are now planning to bring in a couple more reinforcements.
"Al-Ahly needs to strengthen its ranks in two or three positions before the local registration window closes, and there may be a contract with a new foreign player," Ramadan said, as per Kooora.
The transfer decision was ultimately also hindered on the fact that veteran full-back Ali Maaloul is not close to returning to action.
The Tunisian defender ruptured his achilles in the first leg of the CAF Champions League final against Esperance in May.
"Ali Maaloul is not ready to return to matches after suffering an injury with a ruptured Achilles tendon, and he will be in the team's calculations if he returns to the green rectangle as soon as possible."
