A former teammate of Lucas Radebe's who gained legendary status in the Premier League had to come out and dismiss rumours of his own death recently.

Retired Ghana striker Anthony Yeboah played alongside "Rhoo" at Leeds United between 1995 and 1997, and achieved legendary status in England after becoming the first player ever to win successive BBC Goal of the Month awards for his stunners in September and October 1995.
The 51-year-old has now had to come out and deny rumours of his passing, which were originally spread by a US-based website, according to GhanaWeb.
"Those people behind these stories must stop this, it is not just me that they have done this to," Yeboah told Ghana-based radio station Kasapa FM.
"Recently, they did the same to Abedi Pele, which is not nice. You don't have to use social media for such vices.
"I am not even sick so when I heard it, I was so surprised. My aunt saw it on social media and told me about it.
"I want to assure all those who have been worried by the news that it is not true. I am alive."

Yeboah is also the leading African goalscorer in Bundesliga history, having netted 96 strikes for Hamburg and Eintracht Frankfurt during his career. However, Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is just one goal shy of the Ghana legend's record.
