The draw for the group stage phase for the Africa Cup of Nations took place in Yaounde, Cameroon on Tuesday evening.

The Africa Cup of Nations was scheduled to take place June this year, but CAF moved the showpiece to back to the January/February format due to the weather conditions.
The tournament is scheduled to start on 9 January 2022 with the final set to take place on 6 February.
Tournament hosts Cameroon were put in Group A and will take on Burkina Faso in the opening game at the Olembe Stadium in Yaoundé.
