Stuart Baxter's men qualified after beating Libya 2-1 on Sunday, becoming the final and 24th team to book their AFCON 2019 ticket. CAF are yet to officially announce the drawing pots, but have confirmed that the draw will take place on 12 April in Cairo.

However, a number of North African media houses have already published the four drawing pots after a CAF executive meeting reportedly took place on Monday, 25 March.

In the meeting, the procedures for the draw were reportedly outlined, with the 24 teams understood to be divided according to the latest FIFA rankings, while the results at the previous three AFCON tournaments, in 2013, 2015 and 2017, as well as the results of the past three AFCON qualification campaigns (2015, 2017 and 2019) were taken into consideration.
