With the Manchester derby coming up this weekend, I just wanted to write an article to remind our old rivals that there's another team in Manchester, and I ask the question, who's the biggest club in the city?
There is no doubt, to be honest, that United have a fantastic history… The Ferguson years were very kind to them and they now have 20 Premier League titles, which is an English record. Not to mention, they have three European Cups, amongst a good haul in other major competitions.
And, now that I've paid my respect to our rivals, I'd just like to point out that City have been dominating the Red Devils for a number of years now.
Ferguson is gone from United, and so are the likes of Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville and David Beckham, who were responsible for United's success. In those guys' places are the likes of Raphael, Michael Carrick and Anderson…
Meanwhile, here at City, we have Aguero, David Silva, Vincent Kompany and Yaya Toure. We are the reigning Premier League champions and have been major contenders to the title for several years now, while United stumbled to seventh place last season…
They may have reinvigorated their squad by spending big in the summer, but they will never compete with the financial power that we have, and for that reason, amongst a few others, we are currently the biggest team in Manchester!
Who do you think is the biggest team in Manchester?
