Juventus and Chile midfielder Arturo Vidal wrecked his Ferrari last night, as he was involved in a major crash while on duty with the national team.
It's believed that the Chilean star crashed his vehicle after leaving a casino, colliding front on with another car on a highway.
The midfielder was reportedly driving under the influence of alcohol when he crashed his Ferrari in the outskirts of Chile's capital Santiago.
Vidal and his wife, Maria Teresa Matus, were taken to hospital as a precaution, but both were released a few hours later.
The 28-year-old assured his supporters that everything is alright and that he will be ready for his country's next Copa match.
Vidal, who is set to face Bolivia on Saturday, has had a great Copa America so far, scoring three goals and assisting in one in Chile's two games so far.
Do you think Vidal should be reprimanded for drinking and driving?
