Kaizer Chiefs have announced the arrival of two new players, and there are apparently still more to come, but which jersey numbers will the arrivals wear? Let's take a look!
The Glamour Boys' management confirmed the arrivals of Zimbabwean international Teenage Hadebe and Philani Zulu from Maritzburg United earlier this week.
Hadebe, a defender, used to sport the No. 15 jersey when playing for Chicken Inn, along with the No. 17 when turning out for his national team, the Warriors.
As things stand, George Lebese can still be found wearing the latter figure on his jersey, despite having chased after the No. 10 for several years. Nonetheless, Hadebe's previous club's number is available at Chiefs, and he could very well stick to it if the option is given to him.
When turning out for the Team of Choice, Zulu could be found wearing the No. 23 – a number currently worn by December signing Joseph Molangoane. As such, it is likely he will be asked to select another number, unless Molangoane is happy to change his digits.
In addition, Zim striker Tanaka Chinyahara has reportedly penned a deal with Chiefs as a free agent, and he, too, wore No. 15 at his previous club, Danish side Hobro IK.
It seems he will have to tussle his countryman, Hadebe, for the number should they both want to turn out sporting their previous figures.
Which numbers do you think Hadebe, Zulu and Chinyahara will wear?
