It’s no doubt that strong genes run in the family, so you can imagine the excitement when the rumours surfaced that Lionel Messi is expecting a second child.

An Argentine newspaper, Clarín, reported that the 27-year-old superstar and has partner, Antonella Roccuzzo, are expected to be awaiting the arrival of another baby, which is said to be a boy.

In November 2012, Messi and his partner had their first child together, Thiago, and now they could be having another little boy.

If you’re unaware of the genes in Messi’s family, pay attention… Messi is the godfather of Sergio Aguero’s son. The grandfather of Aguero's son is Argentina legend, Diego Maradona, meaning that the Manchester City striker is the son-in-law to the former Napoli and Barcelona great.

So if the rumours are true, we may have another little Messi to deal with, and hopefully his first pair of footwear will be football boots!
