The story

With the new PSL season edging closer, the players are hard at work at their various pre-season camps, with the giants Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs opting to undertake their preparations in Europe.

Orlando Pirates are currently in Spain for their pre-season camp, having played three friendlies (2 draws, 1 win) against LaLiga sides, Granada and Seville, with their first game being played against English Championship club, Plymouth Argyle.

Pirates' utility baller, Namibian star Deon Hotto seems to be getting along well with his club's new recruit, Angolan attacker, Gilberto.

Gilberto appears to be rooming with Hotto on their tour and posted a video of the 33-year-old grooving in their hotel room:

Mamelodi Sundowns are currently undergoing their season's preparations in Austria, led by Steve Komphela and Manqoba Mngqithi following Rulani Mokwena's shock departure two weeks ago.

Teboho Mokoena is also being put through his paces in Austria and will hope to reach higher levels in the 2024/25 campaign after a sensational last two seasons for both club and country.

Mokoena is quite active on TikTok and isn't averse to sharing a light hearted video every now and then, with his most recent video showcasing his slick dance moves:

Kaizer Chiefs are preparing to play their third friendly on their pre-seaosn tour to Türkiye, a trip that excluded veteran goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune.

Khune, who's contract expired in June, has an uncertain future at the Glamour Boys, who reportedly want him to continue at the club on a non-playing role, while the 37-year-old still feels he has a few more years in him.

The former Amakhosi skipper has been staying fit and enjoying life this winter and in a short clip shared on Instagram, Khune is seen dancing to some house music while being hyped up by his wife, Sphelele.
