Although it may seem that the Black Leopards striker was selected only to gain him experience, we cannot doubt the sheer work ethic the 21-year-old possesses. With Shakes looking for ways to get the best out of his striking department, his call-up could also be viewed as an experiment by the technical team.
Not many expected the University of Pretoria youngster to be included into the national team however his six goals in the in the Absa Premiership may have impressed Shakes in that regard.
