The Absa Premiership has seen a number of youngsters break through this season, but today our focus is on the men who continue to defy age and play each week. Can you guess who the 10 oldest players to turn out this season are?
Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt is known to be an admirer of experience, and two of his players make the list of the five oldest stars to be capped in the league this season.
At the age of 37 and nine months, Dillon Sheppard was born first from this list of players, and he is followed closely by his former teammate Henrico Botes, who is eight months younger than him.
Only two goalkeepers make the list, and they come in the shape of Moeneeb Josephs and Cape Town City's Shu-Aib Walters, who continues to put out impressive displays week in and week out.
