After making his way back into the team, Mamelodi Sundowns star Thapelo Morena penned a heartfelt message to those who helped him recover from his horrific ankle injury earlier this year. Check it out!
The speedy utility player suffered a fractured ankle against SuperSport United in a Nedbank Cup tie in February. Morena was subsequently sidelined for a large part of the 2019/20 campaign and only made his return to action in the 2020 Nedbank Cup final last month.

That being said, Morena was included in Downs opening DSTV Premiership fixture this weekend and took to his Instagram account in thanking those who supported him through his tribulations.
The ex-Bloemfontein Celtic star said, "It took the team, the management, Doctors, friends and family as well as fans to see me back in the field. Thank you to each and everyone and the role each played. It's getting better each day and being back really reignited memories. To many more."
