What's the story?
Following Chelsea's sensational UEFA Champions League win over Manchester City, Kante won hearts all over again as fans celebrated his rags to riches life story.
From playing in the French Ligue 2 to winning trophies such as the Premier League, FIFA World Cup and Champions League, Kante is now one of the game's most accomplished players.
Kante's Humble Ride
Despite his continuous success, Kante remains as humble as ever, which was evident in his vehicle choice. While footballers today can be seen driving around in expensive luxury rides, the Frenchman prefers his Mini Cooper.
Opting not to drop big bags on footballer's favourite rides such as Bentleys and Ferraris, Kante's R380 000 Mini Cooper is enough for him to get to the training ground and back.
Fender Bender
Kante purchased the ride during his time with Leicester City and reports suggest that the industrious midfielder still drives it to this day. In 2018, Kante was involved in an accident with a lorry and even refused to fix the damages to his ride.
