 Downs Stars Confirm Their Celebrity Status

A group of Mamelodi Sundowns stars mingled with A-List musicians at an album launch to support a local and international act.

What's the story?

Multi award-winning duo, Blaq Diamond released their third studio album titled "Zulu Romance Part A" at the start of the month, launching it on the 29th of February.

SA music heavyweights such as rapper Sjava and Amapiano hitmaker Musa Keys were in attendance, with five Masandawana's in attendance to support their friends.

Sundowns players at Blaq Diamond album launch

After a long four year wait, Blaq Diamond have finally treated their loyal supporters with an album, "Zulu Romance Part A." 

The afro-pop duo hosted their album launch party at the +258 restaurant in Johannesburg and welcomed Downs stars; Grant Kekana, Teboho Mokoena, Aubrey Modiba, Siphelele Mkhulisi and Lesedi Kapinga.

"All my A-lister bro's in one building," wrote one half of Blaq Diamond, Sphelele Dunywa on his Instagram story, pictured with the Sundowns ballers.

As mentioned above, the likes of Sjava and Musa Keys made an appearance to the album launch, with Mafikizolo's Theo Kgosinkwe, vocalist Nirvana Nokwe, DJ/producer Audio Marc and songwriter/producer, Aubrey Qwana also showing their support to Blaq Diamond.
