Manchester City star Raheem Sterling was recently seen sporting a M16 rifle tattoo on his right leg, which gained some negative media attention. The outspoken attacker has subsequently explained the meaning his tattoo. Did you see it?

Said to have got the ink in March, Sterling has now explained the meaning of his tattoo via an Instagram Story, stating that it is a tribute to his late father.
The former Liverpool player said that the gun has a "deeper" meaning as he made a promise to himself to never touch a gun after his father was gunned down when he was just two years old.
