The story
Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder Patrick Maswanganyi has extended words of encouragement to Kaizer Chiefs' youngster Mfundo Vilakazi following his team's Carling Knockout Cup exit on Saturday.
Amakhosi endured a heavy 4-0 home defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns in the with Vilakazi coming on in the 49th minute, replacing Wandile Duba out wide in efforts to inspire the Soweto giants' attacking efforts.
Despite the heavy loss, which left the skillful teenager feeling dejected, Vilakazi found unexpected support from Maswanganyi, who set aside Chiefs and Pirates' storied rivalry to reach out with some encouraging words.
"Kuzolunga njayam, khululeka. [It's going be fine my brother, don't worry]," wrote Tito on his Instagram story, attaching an image snapped by Daniel Hlongwane of Vilakazi being overcome with emotion after Saturday's crushing defeat.

Vilakazi took to his Instagram story to share an inspired message going into the new week:
