Lionel Messi has made it his most impressive double ever this week as he broke the all-time scoring records in both La Liga and the Champions League.
Messi's Champions League career consists of some stunning strikes and I believe that now is a good time to look back on what he's done so far in his career.

Real Madrid 0-2 Barcelona (2011 semi-final)
One of the most controversial matches in recent history, on and off the field, it was finally settled by Messi. He scored twice in the match and his second was one of the best goals in Champions League history.
Barcelona 4-0 Stuttgart (2010 - Round of 16)
A goal that is quite un-Messi like, in the sense that he went for power over precision. The end result is still the same though! A screamer from the little magician.
Manchester United 0-2 Barcelona (2009 Final)
Standing at just 5ft 6 Messi isn't known for his ariel prowess, this didn't stop him from scoring the goal that killed off Manchester United in the 2009 final with his head though. His looping header beat Edwin Van Der Sar and completed the treble for Barcelona.
Barcelona 7-1 Leverkusen (2012 – Round of 16)
Messi scored an historic five goals in this match and, while a few of his strikes were excellent, his third in the 49th minute was the pick of the bunch. Messi lobbed the ball over the goalkeeper with his "weaker" right foot to complete his hat-trick.
Barcelona 3-1 Arsenal (2011 - Round of 16)
With Barcelona trailing on aggregate, Messi open the scoring just before half-time with a goal that showed off a crazy piece of control to lift it over Wojciech Szczesny before finishing.
