When mentioning the greatest players of all time, Messi's name is often embroiled with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Diego Maradona and Brazilian legend Pelé.
If there was one area the 31-year-old FC Barcelona forward wasn't always known for, it was fashion. He preferred to do the talking on the field and did not give too much attention to what he looked like off of it. He was always a victim of the 'fashion police" who ridiculed him for his bizarre looks.
With age, he got rid of the long hair, grew an impressive beard and started dressing more elegantly. Getting married and becoming the father to three sons has certainly played its part.
His long term partner Antonella Rocuzzo recently took to her Instagram page to share images of the Messi boys all suited up and ready to attend a baptism ceremony.
Messi can be seen in a blue suit flanked by his eldest sons, Thiago and Mateo.
One thing for sure is that Messi will no longer be associated with football's worst dressed players.
