Adding spice to the tie, Raheem Sterling was booked for a risky challenge on England teammate Dele Alli, and could well have been sent off later on in the tie for diving.

That being said, Mourinho was at his classic best in the tie, with his reaction to Sterling's penalty shout in the second half becoming the talk of Twitter.
In fact, the former Chelsea manager was seen smiling and heading back to his seat after the incident before being reminded by his assistant that Sterling could have been booked for simulation.
"The Special One" thus had an epiphany and then furiously tried to persuade the fourth official to get the referee to brandish a second yellow card for the former Liverpool player. As a result, his reaction became a major talking point on social media.
