What's the story?
As seen in SAFA's posts on social media, the South African U23 side boarded the plane as they embark on their trip to Japan for the upcoming Olympic showpiece.
The squad was also seen wearing Maxed tracksuits, a popular active, sports and outdoor lifestyle brand in South Africa. The Maxed label is known for its affordability, especially for people looking for activewear below the price bracket of some top sportswear companies.
SA Footy Looks
When it comes to kits and apparel regarding the SA national football teams, fans have always been curious as to what their favourite stars would be wearing. At the 2016 Olympic games, the footy squad wore strips made by 361°, with Nike being the senior team kit sponsor at the time.
Questions Raised
Nonetheless, the Maxed tracksuits raised many questions by fans in the various comments sections of the SAFA Twitter feed, given that the Bafana Bafana squad has their shirts made by French label, Le Coq Sportif.
