Before his move to the Premier League in 2011, Mata was not a household name, but after his easy adaption to arguably the world's toughest league with Chelsea, the Spaniard's name became known all around the world.
Despite being a star, however, Mata has remained a humble figure throughout his career, and has won over many fans with his down-to-earth personality.
