Well-known media personality Robert Marawa recently hosted new Mamelodi Sundowns striker Phakamani Mahlambi on his TV show, and the player's comment about "mummies" on it has gone viral since. Did you see it?
Marawa interviewed Mahlambi on his Thursday Night Live show, and asked him about his time with Al Ahly in Egypt, which led to him responding to a question he had misunderstood.
Marawa had suggested that most people go to Egypt to see the mummies, among many other attractions.
Mahlambi replied by saying: "You can't see the mummies because most of them are married at a young age."
For context, mummies are deceased humans or animals that had been preserved over centuries, with many of Egypt's museums having these artefacts on display for tourists.
The Downs man mistook Marawa's meaning of "mummies" for "mommy", a term widely used for mothers.
The video thus went viral on social media as fans began hitting the retweet and like buttons.
