Mabhuti Khanyeza Speaks On Trusting The Process

The story

Lamontville Golden Arrows played out a goalless stalemate in their last Betway Premiership match before this month's International break, finding themselves in 10th place on the league table.

Abafana Bes'thende have endured a mixed set of results in the league leading up to their draw at home to Matsatsantsa, seeing the Durban-based managing just two wins so far this season, which came from their opening two games.

For Mabhuti Khanyeza, it's not the time to push any panic buttons just yet, with the young coach mentioning that he's not looking too far ahead when it comes to results in the league.

"We take it one game at a time. Because it's three points that we are fighting for. I don't think you can plan for 24 games that are still remaining. We focus on one game and then the next one and then we see where that leaves us," said the 42-year-old in his chat with Soccer Laduma after Arrows' draw with SuperSport.

"If you focus on ten games or something like that, we end up losing focus on the upcoming fixture," noted Khanyeza. 

Arrows will relish this international break, which will allow both coaches and players to reassess and regroup for their next league game, a KZN Derby against Royal AM on Tuesday, 26 November.
