NWU-Mafikeng were leading the fixture 2-1, but on the brink of the half-time whistle, they were handed a massive blow in the shape of a horrific own goal.
Tshepo Makgopela passed the ball back to Amogelang Maduo, but the goalkeeper was left red-faced as he produced a "freshie" to see the ball roll into the back of his net, allowing for UJ to draw level.
