A famous Hollywood actor, who has starred in some of the biggest films over the past 20 years, has reportedly claimed he could win R10 million on a bet he placed on the Premier League!
According to The Sun, Tom Hanks, the voice of Woody in the Toy Story franchise and the star of many of Hollywood blockbusters, has reportedly claimed he made an amazing bet that Leicester City would win the Premier League this season.
The actor claimed he put £100 (R2 107) on the Foxes at the start of the season, despite being a fan of Aston Villa, who were recently relegated from the Premier League.
At odds of 5 000 to 1, Hanks would walk away with £500 000 (R10 million)!
When the interviewer pressed him about his claim, asking whether or not he really put the money down, Hanks said: "Maybe I did, maybe I didn't..."
Do you think anyone would really have thought Leicester could win the league this season?
