When arriving at the Red Devils, manager Louis Van Gaal made Di Maria the club's new number seven, so could this be his way of showing his commitment to the club?
The Argentine also has the number 22 in Roman numerals on the same arm - the number he wore during his time at Real Madrid.
Another thing also worth noting is that Di Maria is also Argentina's number 7, so could this perhaps just be a commitment to his country?
