With Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez being one of the most talked about couples in football, it has now been reported that the Juventus man popped the all-important question with the most expensive engagement ring in football.
In what has been one of the hottest talking points regarding Ronaldo's life away from football, CR7 and girlfriend could well be tying the knot in the near future.

Ronaldo, who previously expressed his desire to settle down with Rodriguez, reportedly proposed with a ring said to be the most expensive among ballers who tied the knot.
That said, UK based publication The Sun reported that in 2018, Rodriguez sparked engagement rumours when she left a comment of heart eye emojis under a photo of the ring on the Cartier Instagram account. The ring is said to be priced at around the £615 000 (R13 million) mark, however it is not confirmed as to whether CR7 had bought the piece of jewelry or not.

Nonetheless, the Sun claims that GamblingDeals, an online gambling website, drew up a list of the most expensive engagement rings bought by footballers, with Ronaldo bagging the most expensive one of the lot.
It's said that England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford bought the second most expensive ring valued at £500 000 (R10.7 million), while ex-Chelsea great Ashley Cole came in third place with a ring worth some £275 000 (R5.8 million). The news swiftly made its rounds around online publications in Europe, with fans on social media also getting in on the conversation.
