Chiefs' New Away Kit Brings Back 2001 Memories

Chiefs' New Away Kit Brings Back 2001 Memories

Kaizer Chiefs have officially launched their new away kit for the 2016/17 Absa Premiership season, and it brings back a lot of memories of the days when Jabu Pule donned the famous jersey. Do you remember that kit?

The Glamour Boys were busy this morning as they announced the signing of Ryan Moon and Siyabonga Ngezana, along with the away jersey.

The jersey, which is half black and half gold, could be pulled off as a home kit, and it is said to be reminiscent of the 2001 shirt, which they wore when they won the Mandela Cup.

Here is coach Steve Komphela sporting the new kit.

Here a couple of pictures of the kit from 2001.

Which kit do you prefer – this season's away shirt or the 2001 jersey?
