What's the story?
As one of the ways in showcasing support of their favourite teams, fans often wear club apparel in pledging their allegiance. Some teams however, go the extra mile in creating unique clothing items, while also collaborating with clothing brands.
For Sekhukhune United, the club recently revealed a new partnership with Drip Footwear, a rising sneaker brand in South Africa. Players and club figures will now be able to walk in the brand's shoes as part of the deal.
Hot Collabs
In 2019, Kaizer Chiefs and streetwear brand Butan announced a collaboration, as the two launched a limited-edition clothing catalogue. The same year, Orlando Pirates teamed up with Lobster Lemonade where they partnered in creating a range of caps and bucket hats.
In December last year, Baroka FC announced that they penned a deal with clothing store Bogart Man, which will run for the next three years.
In 2015, former PSL outfit Ajax Cape Town secured a deal with Robert Daniel, as the formal clothing brand provided stylish suits to the club for three-years.
