The Rossoneri have finally revealed some pictures and a video of their new home ground, which should be built by the 2018-19 season.
AC Milan have played their home matches at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza for almost the last 90 years, and now it has been confirmed that it will come to an end.
The Rosseneri's new stadium will be built in the old Fiera Campionaria di Milano area, which is in Portello district.
The stadium is estimated to cost the club between €300m and €320m, and is supposed to have a capacity of 48 000 seats. Milan will be the only club it houses.
According the La Gazzeta, the Rosseneri's new home is expected to be ecologically friendly and capable of recycling rainwater for its bathrooms.
The Stadium will partially be powered by solar power, and they will be trying to make it completely soundproof, according to reports.
The paper also reported that the infrastructure around the stadium will include two floors of parking, a football academy, a hotel, and an exhibition area for the club.
The club is one of three Serie A sides that are planning on moving to new, improved stadiums in the next few years, and we could see many others follow suit.
