Jose Mourinho, who was sacked by AS Roma this year, has revealed when he wants to return to management.

Mourinho was relieved of his duties by the Italian giants in January after run of poor results in Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

The Premier League and Saudi Pro League have touted as possible destinations, but the Portuguese tactician says his objective is start to in June with a new team.

"I'm ready to start again. I don't need to rest or think as usually happens... I'm really ready," Mourinho told Fabrizio Romano.

"I don't need to rest or think as usually happens – I'm ready. I feel strong and good, I'm really ready but I don't want to make the wrong choice. "

I have to be patient. My objective is to start again next summer."

Mourinho also responded to Chelsea supporters chanting his name earlier this month during the side's draw against Brentford.

"The first feeling is I always say that the best thing football has is the fans.

"Because the fans don't make money with football – they spend money with football! Sometimes they spend money that the family needs and they make sacrifices because of the passion for football and especially for the passion for their clubs.

"So normally they are fair. When the club's fans don't like the players, don't like the coach, for some reason, it's not because beautiful eyes, it's not because handsome guy. They love it, or they don't love it, for some reason.

"In my case, independent of results – of course I had the luck always to have something to celebrate, something for the fans to have a good memory of me – but I think something that they see is when you are committed to them."
