Siya sources at Naturena have indicated that the club is working with their youth coaches on promoting young striker, Neo Bohloko who has been performing admirably for the DDC side under coach Vela Khumalo.
The source adds that the 15-year-old striker could be given the chance to train with the first team before being finally promoted.
"Yes, he is young but he is ready for the first team. The club is working on giving him the chance to train with the first team but at the moment the DDC team want him to help their team fight for honours in their league. Both technical teams have agreed that he is ready for first team action but they don't want to rush him and put pressure on him. So, it may happen any time soon and as soon as the DDC season is finished he may join the first team," the source observed.
A different Siya source added that the club wants to promote as many young local strikers as they can.
"They don't want to struggle with strikers while they have good strikers in their development. In recent times they have mainly promoted midfielders and now they are looking at giving the chance to Neo (Bohloko) as a striker and help him develop while in the first team.
"The DDC coach is confident of his ability and they want to encourage him going forward," the source concluded.
