On Christmas Eve, the Red Devils announced that they had reached a deal for British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe to take a 25% stake in the club.
While it could take up to a month for the INEOS CEO to officially become part of the board, many expect positive changes under the lifelong United supporter.
According to The Times, though, as part of the agreement he has struck with the 20-time English champions, Ratcliffe is barred from publicly criticising the Glazers.
The American family has owned United since 2005 and have long been scrutinised for overseeing the club's fall from grace, with the team having not won the Premier League in a decade.
It is further claimed that, in turn, the Glazers will also not criticise Ratcliffe, who will reportedly be consulted should the Red Devils consider bringing in any new players in January.

The British businessman will assume control of the footballing operations at United, a move that will likely see him appoint people he has worked with previously in high-profile positions.
