While the Blaugrana finished top of Group H and have progressed to the round of 16 of the competition, the Spaniard has admitted to being "worried" about his team's slump following their 3-2 away loss to Royal Antwerp on Wednesday night.
"Yes, I'm worried. It is normal," he said, according to Forbes.
"The team isn't feeling comfortable. We have had a bad streak of negative results. We have to be critical. The opposition is generating a lot [of chances against] us and it is costing us too much. The positive point is that we are in the round of 16."
The defeat to the Belgian side was Barcelona's second consecutive loss, after being beaten 4-2 by Girona in LALIGA last weekend, while they have also lost four of their past nine matches.
Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo has labelled the team "ridiculous", while Josep Pedrerol, host of El Chiringuito, has called the Catalan side "broken" after Wednesday's result.
While president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco have publicly backed Xavi, rumours suggest that the 43-year-old could be in deep trouble should Barcelona lose to Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium in the league this coming weekend.
The Spanish giants are currently fourth on the table, tied on points with Atletico Madrid, five points behind rivals Real Madrid and seven points adrift of first-placed Girona.
