Orlando Pirates' big decision on Thembinkosi Lorch is pending, the Siya crew has been made to believe.
Last Wednesday, Pirates confirmed that Lorch was removed from all club activities until December 12 following the conclusion of legal proceedings which he was involved in.

The star player was on Tuesday last week sentenced to three years imprisonment for assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm in the Randburg magistrate's court though the sentence was wholly suspended for five years on condition that he is not found guilty of committing a similar offence during the period of suspension.
In suspending Lorch, Pirates confirmed that they were commencing their internal processes to look into the matter.
Over the years, the Soweto giants have been consistent in condemning any form of abuse perpetrated against women and children and have been no different in the Lorch matter.
According to sources, while the player might be subjected to a further punishment from the club depending on the investigations, his contract is unlikely to be affected.

"He is likely to return to continue from where he left off on the field. The club is investigating the matter but the player's contract is unlikely to be affected. In terms of his contribution to the club, he remains an important member of the team," said the source.
As previously reported by the Siya crew, Lorch has been expected to sign a new contract with the Buccaneers, with his existing deal understood to be running until June 2024.
