Sources close to the Brazilians have added that the 21-year-old's form has not gone unnoticed hence the Netherlands club has come knocking.
"As of now we can't say which club it is. I know the top bosses know it. I think the coach also knows it but because they haven't made it official that's why we don't know the name of the club but they are from Holland," said the Siya source.
"The representatives have been talking to the Sporting Director and he is the one handling everything at the moment and that's why it's difficult to know which club it is.
"But according to the information at the club it's a big, top team!" the source told Soccer Laduma.
A second source added that the Dutch club has been monitoring the youngster and that they are impressed by his progress.
"You know in Holland they like to recruit them while they are young so that they learn their system as well. They are happy with what they have seen in Jerome (Karelse)," said the second source.
"I am not quite sure when he is expected to leave but they are really interested in him. And because he is a youth player maybe they won't be waiting for the next transfer window.
"He may move any time whether this year, early next year or even later as it will all depend on the talks and agreements," the source observed.
The Siya crew contacted Sundowns for comment but no response was received while this story was prepared.
