Earlier this week, it was reported that Italian giants Juventus have been in touch with the Red Devils to gauge whether they would be open to loaning him out in January.
It is understood that the 20-time English champions are looking to offload the 23-year-old at the next available opportunity, but preferably on a permanent deal.
The Bianconeri were believed to have held out hope that United would have covered part of his salary, though the club has decided to wait for more attractive proposals at this time.
According to the Mirror, the Red Devils want to sell Sancho for no less than £50 million (R1.1 billion) after buying him from Borussia Dortmund in 2021 for £73 million (R1.6 billion).
The winger is currently out of favour in Manchester under head coach Erik ten Hag, who publicly criticised his training performances in September after leaving him out of a matchday squad.
Sancho responded by issuing a statement on his social media platforms in which accused the Dutchman of making him a scapegoat.
