Foster Sees Red On Eventful Premier League Outing

Bafana Bafana striker Lyle Foster had an eventful evening for Burnley, which ended with a red card against Nottingham Forest on Monday night.

The South African maintained his spot in the line-up after scoring in his previous two Premier League encounters.

The striker had an eventful evening as he got the assist for Burnley's goal in the first half after miscuing a shot.

Foster then had the ball in the back of the net in the final ten minutes to put his side but after the referee checked the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) monitor, the goal was ruled out for a handball on Sander Berg in the build-up.

The disappointing moment came in the fourth minute of time added on when Foster was given a straight red card for an off-the-ball incident with Ryan Yates following a VAR review.

The Bafana striker will now miss the next three games for Vincent Kompany's side, which includes next weekend's clash against Manchester United at Turf Moor.

Burnley remain without a win in the Premier League this season after four matches played and find themselves in 12th position heading to their clash against the Red Devils.
