Mason Greenwood has spoken for the first time since leaving Manchester United for Spanish minnows Getafe.

The 21-year-old completed a deadline-day loan switch to the Madrid-based club after the Red Devils decided, following an internal investigation, that the forward will continue his career away from Old Trafford.
Greenwood was not registered in time to take part in Getafe's 2-1 loss to Real Madrid in LALIGA this past weekend, but he has since joined up with his teammates in Spain to prepare for his return to football.
In a video posted by Getafe on their English X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday night, the one-time England international greeted supporters ahead of his new journey.

"Hi Getafe fans, it's Mason here," he said in the video.
"I'm so happy to be here and I can't wait to get started."
Greenwood has not played football since his arrest in January 2022, although he has since been cleared to return to the field after the charges he was facing were dropped earlier this year.
Speaking recently about the issue, Getafe head coach Jose Bordalas touched on the sensitive nature of the forward's situation.
"It is too delicate a situation to trivialise this issue. Everybody knows what happened, the appropriate measures were taken," he stated.
"Obviously we can only talk about football, about other issues, I think, that the people and the relevant systems did what they had to do, and everybody knows how it ended – without a condemnatory sentence.
"He's a footballer of the highest level, who comes to Getafe with enormous hope. We are going to help him to recover his best level."
