Seeing the Bafana legend Siyabonga Nomvethe drive to the area to visit his mother allowed Mbatha to dream beyond her environment.

"It starts with visibility. It's important to be a tangible representation of a dream realized."

"I saw it through Siyabonga Nomvete. He grew up in KwaMashu. That man was one of the people whom I'd see in the township driving to his mom and I knew I could do that for myself and my mother on the day. That's why I continue to be visible in the township," said Mbatha.
