Ancelotti's Real Madrid Future 'Confirmed'

Ancelotti's Real Madrid Future 'Confirmed'

Carlo Ancelotti will reportedly stay at Real Madrid next season.

Carlo Ancelotti's future at Spanish giants Real Madrid has reportedly been confirmed amid rumours he could take the Brazil national team job.

The legendary Italian has enjoyed a successful second spell at Los Blancos, despite a drop-off in form in LaLiga this season after claiming the top-flight title in the previous campaign.

Ancelotti, 63, has a contract at the 14-time European champions until next year, although reports suggest he is being courted by the Brazilian FA to succeed the recently departed Tite.

Real winger Vinicius Junior and other members of the Brazilian contingent in the squad have endorsed their country's move for Ancelotti, but it appears Los Blancos' star will be working with him at least until 2024 in Spain.

Marca reports the four-time UEFA Champions League-winning boss will remain at the club regardless of what happens in Europe this season, a sentiment echoed by Ancelotti himself in a press conference on Friday afternoon.

The Spanish giants are in the final of the Copa del Rey and will carry a 2-0 aggregate lead into the second leg of their UCL quarter-final against Chelsea next week.
