Having already secured promotion to England's top division for Burnley, manager Vincent Kompany has been linked with a shock switch to another Premier League club.
Man Utd Player 'Decides' To Leave Club
After spending the latter stages of his career under Pep Guardiola at Manchester City before retiring as a player at Anderlecht in 2020, the ex-Belgium centre-back has impressed since venturing into management.
Kompany's debut season in charge of Burnley in the EFL Championship has resulted in promotion to the Premier League, with the 37-year-old having won four Championship Manager of the Month awards too.
As a result, his exploits appear to have earned him a place on the radar of some top clubs in England, with a report from The Sun now claiming Tottenham Hotspur could move for him ahead of the coming campaign.
The Lilywhites reportedly view the former City captain has their ideal candidate to be Antonio Conte's long-term replacement, with it being suggested that chairman Daniel Levy has been "blown away" by what he has seen from the Belgian.
Conte left the London club by way of mutual consent late in March after a fallout with the board.
It is said Kompany would be willing to listen to Spurs' proposal as he has dreams of reaching the top of the game as a manager.
