"Caso Negreira" has been dominating the headlines ever since news broke that Barca had been giving money to the former vice-president of the referee's committee in Spain, Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira, during his time in office.
The Spaniard has only been seen once since the news came to light, when he was spotted coming out of his home in Catalonia, but even then, the former match official had not spoken about the case publicly after it came to light.
Now, albeit briefly, Negreira has finally broken his silence about the story that is making all the headlines in Spain.
According to Marca, Cuarto aired a programme on Wednesday evening about the case that has gripped the nation, and when the 77-year-old was asked about it, he said: "I'm in the movies."

Negreira is said to have received more than €7 million (R137 million) from previous Barca administrations during his time as vice-president of Spain's referees committee, but the club has maintained its innocent throughout, claiming that while money was exchanged, it was done so legitimately.
