Coach Rulani Mokwena's troops have been getting the job done without a number of their first-team players who are nursing injuries; however, the current international break could be a blessing in disguise for Mamelodi Sundowns.

There is no doubt that the young coach will welcome the current FIFA break as the Brazilians have been firing in the DStv Premiership, Nedbank Cup and the CAF Champions League.
Sundowns currently have 10 players in Thapelo Morena, Aubrey Modiba, Grant Kekana, Mothobi Mvala, Teboho Mokoena, Themba Zwane, Cassius Mailula, Ronwen Williams as well as Peter Shalulile (Namibia) and Brian Onyango (Kenya) on international duty.
However, before their match against Al Hilal in Sudan, Sundowns revealed that seven players in Rushin De Reuck (Hamstring injury), Rivaldo Coetzee (hamstring injury), Lebogang Maboe (knee injury), Gaston Sirino (ankle injury), Lesedi Kapinga (illness), Bongani Zungu (knee injury), and Haashim Domingo (illness) were still struggling with their respective ailments.
Andile Jali has been a big miss from the Sundowns squad following his impasse with the club.
With Sundowns next match coming on 1 April against Coton Sport, they will be hoping to have a few of these players return to full fitness as they push for all silverware on offer in the business end of the campaign.
