Let's take a close look at three of his best kicks.
Number 3: Gucci
As mentioned, Ekstein enjoys the trendy silhouettes and this Gucci shoe represents everything that young sneakerheads love at the moment.
Ekstein has the Gucci GG Supreme Leather Trainers. The kicks are worth just over R14k according to Matches Fashion and are embellished with the GG supreme print and the Gucci interlocking G's logo adds a nice touch on the heel.
The almost vintage-inspired brown, to the classic Gucci print and chunky sole... these kicks are great blend between Gucci's vintage fantasy and the brand embracing the current sneaker zeitgeist.

Number 2: Balenciaga
Like a lot of sneaker heads in the footballing world, Ekstein has a pair of Balenciaga kicks.
The daring fashion brand took the streetwear world by storm when it released its Triple S sneakers.
Ekstein has a black pair of the chunky shoes that are priced at R15 977. They go well with most looks and don't always overpower a cool outfit, despite its size.
Number 1: Dior
The coolest kicks in Ekstein's collection are the Dior B23 low-top sneakers.
The silhouette, which resembles a converse shoe, was first debuted by designer Kim Jones in 2018 and they've been the it-sneakers at Dior ever since.
A black pair of these kicks are valued at R18 499 at court order SA.
Ekstein's low-top kicks are perfect for summer outfits and go incredibly well with shorts. Whether you wear them with high socks or secret ones, the shoes can make any 'fit look amazing.
