Kaizer Chiefs look set to visit Stellenbosch FC at a different venue for their fixture this coming weekend, following the chaotic scenes that erupted during the previous clash between the two sides.
Stellenbosch are scheduled to host Chiefs in the DStv Premiership on Sunday and as confirmed by sources at the Western Cape club, the match is understood to have been moved to the DHL Cape Town Stadium, despite being initially planned for the Danie Craven Stadium.

During the MTN8 quarterfinal match between Stellies and Amakhosi in Stellenbosch on August 28, chaos erupted after fans invaded the pitch in celebration of their team scoring a goal which resulted in the restart of the match being delayed.
The Soweto giants were fined for the fans' actions.

In fearing a repeat of the incident, Stellenbosch are believed to have decided to move the upcoming game to the bigger venue at the Cape Town Stadium.
As confirmed by the league's prosecutor Zola Majavu at the time of the fine, Chiefs were sanctioned with a R200 000 fine, half of which was suspended for 24 months, provided that a similar offence doesn't happen again.
