Kaizer Chiefs will come up against Highlands Park this weekend and former assistant coach, Farouk Khan has explained where Amakhosi can hurt them.
Highlands will play host to Amakhosi at the Makhulong Stadium on Saturday, February 22, in the last 16 of the Nedbank Cup competition.
Chiefs have a 100% winning record against Highlands in the Absa Premiership this season, although, the Nedbank Cup will prove to be a different test as Amakhosi go into the encounter off the back of a defeat.
Speaking in an exclusive feature with Soccer Laduma this week, Khan explained where Chiefs could identify weaknesses against Highlands, despite the Lions of the North having turned their form around.
"I watched Highlands Park against Bloemfontein Celtic this past weekend and they played very well. They shifted the ball well and they did not go over the top much, but their problem has been with the goalkeeping area," Khan explained.
"He (Marlon Heugh) struggles with aerial balls and this is where Chiefs' strength is. Chiefs have a very good aerial attack, especially with diagonal balls from their right fullback Reeve Frosler. He pinpoints those balls to (Samir) Nurkovic and (Leonardo) Castro. I would have nightmares if I was Owen da Gama," he added.
