The University of Pretoria will host trials for those budding footballers who wish to join the club.
Tuks will host the camp over two days at the University of Pretoria Sports Campus, and the first day will focus on basic football specific sport science testing. The second day is the actual football match (11-a-side).
Trials will be held on June 14-15, and registration will open at 07:00 and 08:30 on both days, with players expected to pay a R100.00 fee for both days.
The Siya crew is informed that players between the ages of 14 and 25 are welcome, but must bring their Identity Document or Passport and a birth certificate for those under the age of 16.
Speaking to the crew, Tuks Media officer, Pearl Mosoane, said the response has been great especially from parents.
"The response has been wonderful considering that we've just issued our press release today. So far it has been parents mostly calling in to get more information. Our age range is kind of broad, from 14 years. Remember we have a junior side, an academy so we might pick a few of these players and possibly use them in our senior team," said Mosoane.
According to the statement, players must bring their own boots, trainers and shin guards together with clothing suitable for playing football. All interested players can contact the club for more information.
